Student Accountability Report Card (SARC)

The School Accountability Report Card (SARC) is a school site report card that gives parents and the community important information on school performance such as the number of certificated staff employed, subject curriculum, and student test scores.

Why is the SARC important?

  1. Helps Parents Make Decisions – The SARC gives families a clear picture of a school’s strengths and areas for improvement.

  2. Covers Important Topics – It includes details on student test scores, teacher qualifications, class sizes, school safety, and available programs.

  3. Shows How Money is Spent – Parents can see how the school uses its funding to support students.

  4. Required by Law – Every public school in California must create a SARC each year so families and the community stay informed.
