Due to Monday, April 13, being a non-school day, school lunches will be served on Tuesday, April 14 for Tuesday and Wednesday, and they will again be served on Thursday, April 16, for Thursday and Friday. Please call your school's office with any questions.

The county superintendent of schools just issued a statement saying Siskiyou County schools will not reopen to students this current school year and affirming schools' commitment to distance learning. This message is regarding school lunches. Student lunches are available for pick-up daily at both school sites from 11:00 to 12:00 for anyone 18 and younger. If you would like a lunch for your child, please call your school's office as soon as possible.
Curb-side learning materials pick-up is scheduled to occur on Tuesday, March 31 and Wednesday, April 1 depending on who your child’s teacher is. Your child’s teacher will contact you on Monday, March 30, with your scheduled pick-up time, and we will try to combine pick-up times for students who are siblings. Please call your school’s office with questions.
Mount Shasta Union School District will be conducting a drive thru distribution of daily prepared lunches, free of charge for all children ages 18 and younger. Meals will be available for pickup twice per week at both Mount Shasta Elementary and Sisson Schools. The first pickup is scheduled for Monday, March 30 from 11:00 to noon. If you would like to order lunches for your children please call either school office, tomorrow, Friday, March 27 from 9:00 to noon for MSE and from 8:00-11:00 for Sisson.

This post is to remind you that there is no school this coming Monday, January 20, 2020 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Due to heavy snow and more in the forecast, school is closed today, Thursday, January 16. School resumes at the normal time tomorrow, Friday, January 17.
